I want to go to culinary school, and I had a golden opportunity as a finalist in a scholarship competition. Then I started looking at what it would cost me to accept the scholarship and pursue my dream. It ended up being too much for me right now. I didn't put the dream on hold as much as I re-evaluated it and molded it to fit my reality. I think I'll eventually get what I need, even if it's not exactly what I think I want right now.
